As some of you may have heard, one of Charles Manson girls says she deserves to be let free. She has a terminal illness and wants to spend her last days as a free woman.

Do you think she deserves to be let free in society? Why or why not?

I personally think she should be allowed some type of freedom. She's not on any drugs and been kept away from Manson for so long that she no longer feels any tie to him like she did before. In her interview she seemed perfectly aware of her wrong doings and the reality of the damages she has done. She even went on to describe how horrible it is knowing you have kids in the world with such a mother. The complete opposite of what was shown in the beginning. I think she has changed.

Yes.

The human mind is inherently malleable, and these people were clearly brainwashed. Of course I believe in free will and mind over matter, etc., but young people looking for direction and purpose are like clay. Our justice system is antiquated and needs some serious revisions.
