What do you write when you want to know who you are? How do you know who you are?

Sad but I'm still trying to figure out who I am. I'm also trying to see if WHAT I am does influence WHO I am. Since I don't take on certain attributes because of gender and ethnicity, it seems to confuse and scare others. But I don't want to be limited in character because of my sex and breed. I'm afraid of growing very old or dying without answering the big questions-- who am I? what am I? and what do I want?

People say they go through life trying to find themselves. I find this impossible to do… after all, you're already here. I think the main point is to shape and become the person you want to be.

I do indeed write when I want to shape myself. I list out all my good qualities. I find that I'm an awesome friend, a great person to come to when things get bad, I'm honest, loyal, and someone that deserves respect.

Then I write down all my bad habits and qualities. And I work on the ones I want to change or need it most and shape myself.

Like I said... you can spend FOREVER finding yourself. It's shaping and becoming yourself that makes the difference. I mean, what if you find out you're a bad person? That can change right? So you actually didn't find yourself because that's a factor that can go either way. People change. Even if it's as small as changing your opinion of a type of food... you've changed in some way.
